Bhagavataratnam award was presented

Guruvayoor Saisanjeevani Trust has honoured Bhagavatacharya Smt. Rugmini Antharjanam, who performed three hundred and sixty five times Bhagavataparayana yajna, with Bhagavataratnam award. The award was given at the closing ceremony of the Bhagavata Gnana Yajna held at Guruvayur Shirdisai Mandir for the past seven days. The award consists of letter of appreciation, plaque, an uncounted amount and a medal. Rugmini Antarjana was also the prime Acharya of Bhagavatayajna held at sai tample. Her own husband, who initiated her into recitation, also received the award under the same name in past time. In her reply speech, Rugmini Antharjanam said that the award of the same name coincidentally was the blessing of the Lord. The Jnanayajna, which lasted for seven days, had special pujas, reading of Bhagavata and Annaprasada every day. Manalur Gopinath’s Ottam Tullal was part of the cultural programs. As part of the closing ceremony, the artists of Perumbavoor Natyakalari ,School of Dance presented a fusion of dance and drama titled Srikrishna Sudama Punahsangamam. Artists Keezhillam Divakaran, Kalamandalam Vinaya Shyam, Anju Krishnan Kutty and Gauri Suresh were also participated in the performance . Sai Sanjeevani Trust President Maunayogi Swami Harinarayanan presided over the function. The spiritual gathering was inaugurated by Swami Sadhu Krishnanda Saraswati, State Secretary of Sanyasi Sabha, Akhila Bharatiya Guruvayurappa Bhaktasangham General Secretary Sajevan Nambiath, Arun Nambiar and Satish Kumar spoke.
