Saikripa Award to Manalur Gopinath

Acknowledgement for ‘Pakarnnattam’ project

Manalur Gopinath (Ottenthullal) has been honored with the inaugural Sai Kripa Kalapuraskaram instituted by the Sai Sanjeevani Trust for personalities who have made integral contributions to the propagation and development of temple arts. The award consists of 11 thousand one hundred and eleven rupees, certificate, Ponnada and Gurumudra. The prize committee deserves a special mention for presenting a thesis on Ottentullal at the University of Glasgow, Scotland and giving an opportunity to thousands of students to learn about this temple art through the ‘Pakarnattam’ project. The award ceremony will be held at Guruvayur on Vijayadashami.
