NM Panicker Brunei Honorary Trade Commissioner
NM Panicker, Founder Chairman of Expert United Marine Service Company and Goodwill Ambassador for the World Malayali Council Middle East Region, has been appointed as the Honorary Trade Commissioner for Brunei at the India Commonwealth Trade Council. This prestigious appointment by the Governments of Brunei and India recognizes Panicker’s extensive experience and leadership in the maritime industry, particularly his contributions to various marine companies in the UAE and his involvement in educational institutions in India. The appointment follows the recommendations of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO). This also recognizes the role played by Panicker in developing international business relationships.
He received the post of Trade Commissioner from His Excellency Dato Alaihuddin Muhammad Taha, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to India at a ceremony held at the ITC Grand Chola Hotel, Chennai. Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO) President Dr. Asif Iqbal, IETO Vice President Vali Kashvi, Mauna yogi Swami Harinarayanan, V. Suresh Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Dais Edikula N. Krishna, Adv. Sudheer Babu also spoke. As Honorary Trade Commissioner, Panicker will be responsible for promoting trade, enhancing economic cooperation and facilitating international trade agreements between Brunei and India.
