God is also those who seek help; Maunayogi Swami Harinarayan

Maunayogi Swami Harinarayanan opined that we should see God in those who seek help before us. On the morning of September 14, Swamiji was delivering the keynote speech at the spiritual gathering of the Onam celebration held at Guruvayur Sai Sanjeevani Mandir. We should see helping others as a service to God rather than charity. Only then that charity is excellent. The same God that is within us is also within them. It is the creation process of God that gives us comfort that gives them miseries. All this is subject to God’s grace. Swamiji also said that Mahabali who joyfully surrendered the three worlds under him and himself to the Lord when he came to know that the one who comes before him and begs for three feet of soil is not a Brahmin boy but Maha Vishnu himself is a good example of this principle. The spiritual gathering was inaugurated by the President of the National Church Council Gevarghese Mar Ilios. Film director Krishnadas Murali and Oman Trade Commissioner Dr. Santosh Geever were honored at the event. Spiritual preacher and scholar Acharya CP Nair delivered the message of Onam. V.P. Unnikrishnan, Prashant Verma, Renuka Shankar and Ashwathi shreekumar spoke. There were flower decoration contests, children’s dances and Thiruvathirakali. 150 families were given Onkit and Onakodi.
